Whanganui Tours is a small tour company owned by a husband and wife team, Ann and Noel Petherick. Our motivation comes from meeting lovely people from all over the world and having the opportunity to show you a very scenic and historical part of our country.

After a career in management, Noel having a love of the outdoors, was looking for a new challenge and made a lifestyle change buying a business operating the Whanganui River Road Mail Run and tourist service. Noel is a passionate tramper and has tramped extensively on many tracks both in the North and South Islands. Although born, and lived in historic Wanganui all his life, he has travelled both overseas and extensively in New Zealand.

Whanganui Tours offers personalised service anf has two passenger vehicles. One 12x seater mini coach and one 7x seater four wheel drive vehicle for those "not so pleasant" road conditions.
